Chasing Waterfalls

May 19th, 2014

The Heat is on in Miami but not nearly as hot as Southern California. I’m relieved to know my San Diego framily is ok. See you soon! Meanwhile in Indiana, the Heat was #turnt down. I’m not a weather forecaster but expect temperatures to rise Tuesday night at a rapid pace!

I’ve been asked to assist with a secret project for the NBA playoffs. If you are in Miami, love the Heat, and would like to be a part of something epic, just email me at doc@doctordribble.com with the subject NBA PROJECT and I will give you the inside stuff!

It was Career Day at Coconut Grove Elementary School last week and Doctor Dribble effected hundreds of children. It wasn’t hard to get their attention. I put on a dribbling exhibition and gave them the best advice for choosing a career. “Doing something everyday for a living that you love and won’t get tired of will make you rich.” I’ll be taking my talents to Vineland Elementary School this Wednesday.

I am writing this blog from Lil Ball Peach’s house. I just got back from the City of Roses, aka RIP City, home of the Trailblazers. Run Rock ‘n’ Roll never disappoints no matter the weather. Portlandians like to “Keep it Weird” so I fit right in! They have bacon doughnuts and all types of cool food that I didn’t try but give me another reason to come back.

Saturday morning I got to explore Oregon. Multnomah Falls, Columbia River George, and the Bonneville Dam, were breathtaking! I hiked different trails and got my namaste on peacefully in nature. Later that day I visited the Charles Jordan Community Center for a free ball handling clinic. It’s always a joy to coach people who strive for greatness! I don‘t mind doing it for free and never get tired of it. I guess that makes me rich.

In Sunday’s main event I tested out the new Miyagi headband from Lululemon and it passed. It stayed on, felt comfortable, and kept my hair out of my face. #RnRPDX was like every Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, AWESOME!!! Not only did the bands rock, despite the rain, thousands of spectators came out to cheer throughout the entire course! We started and finished at the beautiful Tom McCall Waterfront Park. Mynext races coming up are Rock ‘n’ Roll San Diego and Seattle. Can’t wait for the encore!

From Newton’s Method to  Roaster’s n Toaster’s!
