Goal Crushing

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible. Tony Robins said that and it is true. About 6 months ago I wrote down short, mid, and long term goals categorizing them by personal, professional, and health. This is all part of the Lululemon culture. There is so much going on behind the best clothes on the planet to sweat in. It had been a long time since I finished a book and if I hadn’t written it down as a goal I may not have ever purchased “Wooden”. Did you know that Lululemon invests into life coaching for it’s employees and managers? In fact, if you’re in Miami, they will be hosting a personal development experience with motivational speaker and life coach Susanne Conrad on Wednesday, September 3rd from 6-10pm at Lou La Vie Gallery, 1444 Biscayne Blvd #113, Miami, FL 33132. I spent time with her in Whistler, Canada at the Lululemon Ambassador Summit and can not wait to attend this event! I’m currently working on another goal which I’m not quite ready to announce but I’m having a lot of fun challenging myself. I’ll give you a clue, a man from Flint, Michigan known as “The Runyaker” has totally inspired me! The fact that it’s difficult makes me want to practice more and more. I tell my players not to get frustrated with challenging drills. Don’t expect everything to come easy regardless of how talented you may be. I find the most arduous tasks to be the ones that bring out the best in me.

On the topic of #goalcrushing, I am running this year’s TCS NYC Marathon for The Chicago Diabetes Project, a charity that’s discovering a cure for Type 1 Diabetes. My goal is to raise $3,000. In an effort to do this, Friday, September 5th, from 4:30-6:30pm, me and Magda aka @revete will be hosting a spinathon at M-Cycle Gym, 6114 South Dixie Hwy, South Miami. They have Real Ryders and we will be ryding out as a community to Out-Dribble Diabetes. The cost is $50 per hour and 100% of the proceeds will go to charity! Call 305-665-1618 to reserve your bike.
